Kilimo Timilifu (KT) is hoping to get licensing for our Slaughterhouse yet this year 2021. We have a few things to finish up on the meet packaging process before we ask for Tanzania Bureau of Standards to come and inspect our operations. However, KT is already registered with the Meat Board of Tanzania.
There is still need to purchase all the hand tools (scales, knives, bag closer, etc.), deep freeze, cool boxes, and packaging material.
We’re estimating a total of $4,500 to finish and $1,500 for startup chicken purchasing. Total need $7,000 USD.
